What operations consume credits?

Credits are consuming for:

  • Validation through the API call.
  • Checking billable addresses in bulk list.
  • Validating single email via single verification/widget.

In case of bulk validation, credits will be consumed only for validating addresses marked as 'Billable'. Misspelled emails and duplicates aren't billable.

The balance of credits is indicated in the account drop-down menu on the top right of the dashboard. The cost of the list validation task will be indicated in the modal window before starting the validation process.

Types of credits

There are 2 types of credits in Mailifier - credits on demand(static) and subscription credits. They have identical functions and differ only in their consumption algorithm.

By default, you have only static credits. We offer 1000 free verification credits to the new users. You always can purchase more at "Buy credits" page. These credits are never expire.

Subscription credits are granted to you with lifetime subscription. The feature of subscription credits is that they are consumed first.

For example, if you have 20K subscription credits and 1000 static credits, when validating 1 address, 1 subscription credit will be debited from your balance.

NOTE: Subscription credits are accruing every month from the moment of subscription activation, but they are not accumulate from month to month. If you have not spend all subscription credits at current month, the rest of subscription credits will burn out with next monthly accrual. So excuse us, but it won't be possible to accumulate untold verification riches after waiting a year.

What type of credits suits me better?

The most profitable solution for permanently working with our service is buying our lifetime subscription. You pay only once - when purchasing a subscription. No monthly charges from your card, no paid renewals. If you want to increase the number of credits per subscription, just buy another one.

Static credits are best suited for insurance in cases where subscription credits may not be enough. It is also a solution for those who do not plan to use the Mailifier regularly and want just to test the service.
